Dr. Sanet Personally Teaches Energy Mobilization

Energy is not something we add to the body.

It is something we learn to perceive.

For many years, osteopathy has been reduced to mechanics.

Joints, muscles, levers… techniques.

But osteopathy was never about force.

Still described the lesion as something that goes beyond the physical —

something that includes the person as a whole.

When we touch the patient, we are not touching bone or fascia alone.

We are touching a living system in motion.

There is a tide.

There is a rhythm.

There is an organization that is always trying to return to health.

Sometimes what we feel is not restriction…

but a loss of flow.

This may come from:

• Physical trauma

• Emotional experience

• Or something the body has not yet resolved

We often call this an “energy cyst” —

an area where the system has lost its ability to adapt.

And yet, the solution is not to fix it.

The solution is to listen.

To slow down enough to perceive what is already there.

Because when we are present,

when our mind becomes quiet,

something begins to change.

Not because we did something…

but because the body recognized the possibility of change.

In that moment,

osteopathy is no longer a technique.

It becomes a relationship with life.

— Dr. Steven Sanet, D.O.
