The emphasis on manual techniques, including cranial, visceral, myofascial release, and high-velocity manipulation are growing in popularity among patients.
Status of Recognition
Osteopathy is formerly recognized by The Ministry of Health. It is regulated under The National Center for Complementary and Alternative Medicine.
The practice in the Kingdom is done mostly by physical therapists or medical doctors who have a post-graduate diploma in osteopathy from different countries and practice in government or private sectors.
